Houston and Harris understands that offering one service is not enough for our customers therefore we offer everything from CCTV inspections to Data Management Services.
CCTV
Houston and Harris offers CCTV inspections of storm drain, sewer, and water lines 4” and above. All of our video units are equipped with the latest technology to offer the finest picture quality available in the industry including the capabilities of digital capture in MPEG and JPEG format. Every camera has the ability to pan and tilt to provide the best view of defects and lateral connections. We now offer WinCan Version 8.
All video operators have PACP/MACP Certification. This universal coding system is capable with both WinCan and Posm surveying software. In addition each operator is instructed per project according to your specific needs. Daily production figures range between 3000 - 6000 linear feet per day depending on the criteria for inspection and condition of the pipe.
Quality along with production has always been our goal. To insure that the highest quality product is delivered to our client our quality control department is also responsible for data tracking, implementing databases, creating observation codes, establishing fully integrated rating systems and complete operator training. Every line segment goes through a 4 step process:

Combination Cleaning
Houston and Harris has the ability to clean the following: Wet Wells, Dry Wells, Sand Filters, Catch Basins, Culvert Boxes, Storm Drain, Sewer Lines and Water Lines. Our operators are individually trained by senior staff members to ensure proper handling of all equipment. Our combination units can deliver water to the nozzle at a rate of up to 100 gallons per minute. Each vehicle can carry the necessary chain flails, root saws and high pressure nozzles needed to completely clean and remove debris. H & H uses new generation cleaning nozzles that meet our stringent requirements and not simply industry standards. Portable debris boxes are available for locations without dump sites in order to comply with EPA, SSMP, and BMP standards.
Data Conversion
Conversion of deliverables includes the following:
- Convert video files into various video formats including AVI, MP4, MPEG, DVD, MP3, iPad, iPod, iPhone and many others!
- VHS to MPEG 1, 2, 4 / WMV
- VHS to DVD (Data & Authored)
- We now offer Blu-ray discs!
Point Repair Services
As sanitary and storm sewer deterioration increases, there are higher requirements for efficient and cost-effective solutions. RNR Enterprise, Inc.'s cured-in-place point repair trenchless technology replaces the need for contractors to carefully dig while maneuvering around utilities to unearth the area in need of repair.
Database
Houston and Harris prides itself on staying current with all new database formats, municipality management systems, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). All database programming is done in-house so that we can easily customize any clients' project.
We can supply your city with a complete WDR program from start to finish; beginning with a detailed, fully digital CCTV assessment to assembling a team which offers GIS mapping, industry software to merge field data, as well as SSO reporting protocol. If you are looking for a completely out- sourced program, we can recommend an experienced engineering firm for a total SSMP.
Our experience with database systems has enabled us to adapt to existing systems as well as completely
set-up your infrastructure to help ensure CMOM and EPA requirements are met.
With a customized database you will be able to maintain, catalogue, and accurately assess your collection system. Using this invaluable information color-coded maps can be generated to create a complete overview of your entire collection system.
